MEMBERSHIP
Membership Care at First mission is to fulfill our call of discipleship by offering comfort and empathy to those in need. To provide visitation, active listening, compassion, and a supportive relationship in the name of Jesus.
FOCUS
We want to bring the presence of Christ to those who are unable to get to church by providing encouragement, comfort, and spiritual support. We minister through visitation, phone calls and sending cards. We listen to their needs and concerns, offering scripture and praying with them. Our hope is to give them a continued sense of belonging and connection with their church body.

This verse is often interpreted as a call to help those in need, as it suggests that helping others is equivalent to helping Jesus himself. It is a reminder that we should treat others with kindness and compassion, regardless of their social status or background.
