Adoptees Rise is a one day event held at First Baptist Lodi in the auditorium. This event is centered around the adoptee experience as one that continues throughout the individuals’ lives. Special guest speaker, Cam Lee Small of Adoption Literacy, and a TedX speaker.

If you are an Adoptee, Adoptive parents, prospective adoptive parents, birth parents, therapists, educators, faith community leaders, family and friends of adoptees you do not want to miss this one day only event.

I wasn't always interested in adoption. Not even my own. I was born in Korea and after being separated from my family at the age of three, it took me decades to begin exploring and healing through those layers of my story. Children and families who've experienced any form of family separation, foster care, reunification, and adoption deserve support much sooner in their journey. I'm here to address that gap together with you. With practical frameworks, language, and strategies that empower our communities toward the individual and collective resources we need together. Good, important, lasting outcomes can start today when we have the right tools and understanding in place!
